Description	:	The interurban depot is nearing the end of its life by the time of this view. Passenger train service stopped on March 3, 1956. The tracks were paved over in the center of Macoupin Street after freight train service was rerouted years after the passenger service terminated. However, their path down the center of the street is still evident in this photo. This shot was made from a 110mm slide.
